Christian Education is a ministry that collaborates with the pastor and church leadership, which seeks to provide Christian growth and promotes maturity in the body of Christians believers. We seek to instruct, educate, and prepare each person in his or her own identity, to understand and interpret the reality of one’s own life.

In our local church setting Christian Education further seeks to impart sound biblical knowledge of the Scriptures and increase the awareness of the Christian’s faith and beliefs.  We strive to live, share, and demonstrate what we believe by deeds and actions in all our encounters with others.

Christian Education continued

We become equipped to go out into the world sharing the “good news” for the honor and glory of God. We believe that the local church is the nucleus that promotes and encourages believers to move from the ‘church gathered to… become the ‘church scattered’ in fulfilling the great commission in Matthew: 28:18-20.

The Christian Education Department has certified teachers who lead the classes in teaching about Christ and His love for us.  The Bible Study is mainly, led by the clergy in the church, but laity are well-equipped to teach, as well.  Reverend Mary Faircloth serves as Director of Christian to collaborate and develop the educational needs of the local church.

Bible Study

Our goal is to provide the education to adults, young people, and children that will equip him or her with practical applications to develop and strengthen his or her faith in Christ Jesus.

This focus of teaching is designed for everyone to seek deeper meaning of scripture to support his or her ability to live a rewarding Christian life.

The Senior Ministry promotes health, wholeness, wisdom of the sages, usefulness in life changing crises, cultural diversity to people of all ages, community and social interests.

We endeavor to provide viable resources from local community and state agencies to enhance, enable, empower and equip Christian seniors for service to God and His people.

The focus is on better nutrition; healthy eating and beverage choices, exercises for the mature and physically challenged.

To Receive Salvation

Admit your sins to God. The Bible says that “all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). To be saved means that we admit that we are sinful and have moved far from God, and are inviting Him to become Lord and Savior over our lives.

Confess that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of your life and that he came into the world to save us from our sins (…If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  (Romans 10:9)

Believe that now you have eternal life through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Bible declares “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Apostle's Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only son our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.  The third day he arose from the dead.  He ascended into heaven and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.  I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Church Universal, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.  — Amen.
